My typical prices for an average-sized garden

After an initial free, no-obligation, face-to-face chat, you can commission me to carry out a range of services, each priced separately:

Site survey and draft designs from £500
After surveying your garden, I'll create two or three draft designs for you to choose from. These give you a bird's-eye view of how your garden could be. They're produced to scale so that your chosen design can be easily laid out on site. Please note: gardens on steep slopes or with complex shapes may require additional elevation-view drawings.  

Border plans from £500
I'll note which plants you wish to keep; measure the site, aspect, soil quality and light levels to ensure that I recommend plants that will flourish; and produce a birds-eye-view plan to show you where each plant goes.

Design masterplan
Not necessary for most gardens. However, for more complex gardens I can create additional detailed plans, so that your chosen design can be built accurately by the landscaper.

Construction designs
I can provide detailed plans for structures, such as decking or pergolas, advise on materials, etc.

Sourcing specialist garden items
I will track down whatever you require, from suitable sculptures to fountains, planters to garden furniture, and fencing to lighting.

Sourcing and supplying plants
I can save you both time and money by purchasing plants for you; there is no fee for this service beyond the cost of the plants and any delivery charges.

After-care advice
I'm always available by telephone or email to help you with queries; I can also make garden visits if necessary. Brief email exchanges or phone chats are free but consultation visits are £50 per hour.
